There are many Långströms and relatives living in the Bullaren area.  Smeberg, Backa, (north of Naverstad church).  The farm Snoveröd that is not on this map, is still owned and being farmed by Långströms. (Snoveröd should be to the left and between Tingvall and Säm) The farm Tingvall is now an ecology center for agriculture. (Go to the web site below to read about it). The farm Musland (Just south of the number 34 on the map) where the Midsummer was held when Jerry and Colleen visited in 1999, is where Svante & Hulda Långström live.  There are many more relatives living in the area.

Points of interest for the Långström/Longstrom family.

The border to Norway is close to Bullaren and the Långströms and their families went to Norway often to shop.  In Sweden they would go to Dingle to shop.  (Bottom of map)
Because they were so close to Norway, some of the traditions of Norway were used in the  families holiday celebrations, such as Lefse.

Most of the names on this map are farm names. The Parishs have a cross in front of the name and the towns are larger print.

Hovsäter is where the Långström/Longstrom family reunion was held in June 1997.

is the farm where the first Långström changed his name from Olof Olsson Åhs to Olof Olsson Långström in 1810.
